A Change of direction... or a focus of the subject.
My aim, in light of the recent pitch presentation feedback, is to pursue stylized visual effects. My an excellent example of what I mean is Lovetts "Eye of the storm" music video.
Here is the making of:

I began my foray into stylised production by trying to find an explanation describing what is actually meant by stylised. There seemed no over elaborate descriptions, only a very short descriptions. The most appropriate I found was: "Depict or treat in a mannered and nonrealistic style."

Alongside this I was collecting together every example I could remember viewing, and finding some more along the way. With a growing bank of examples I split them up into the various techniques that were used for the most prominent visual elements. It began to look as if I would have to choose one topic out of the multiplying options to focus on. Either one technique and the various ways in which it could be applied, or one particular style / aesthetic and the various ways in which it could be achieved. With the latter option appearing the most appropriate I began searching for a style that would define the remainder of my university career.

a note: although this passage is written in the past tense the truth is the process written about was actually happening as I was writing. The whole process only lasted around an hour
