This is the first project I began keeping track of with 'ClockingIT.com'  This allows me to keep track of the time spent on each element of the project and a running total.  For future freelance work this will be invaluable.  As far as the ident goes: this was the most complex motion graphic piece I have attempted to date.  The original idea shown in the story board was for a spark of energy to enter a seemingly dormant sphere, the combination would prove explosive creating the idea on which 'Mondo' is based.  The look and timing of the piece is intended to portray a sense of 'epic'.  This was a trick concept to deliver in a short length of time.  Looking back a simpler idea or set of events could have preformed the task better.  Technically I managed almost all of the effects in the way desired.  One compromise was in the final shot - the cubes making up the sphere were intended to be blasted aside at the logo burst out.  Unfortunatly, after repeated failed attempts at finding ways of creating this simulation I had to forgo the intent and work in a simpler flair effect.  Excluding this ending and the slight questions that may linger over the specific message being portrayed by the piece I think I has been successful and will be a worthy addition to my showreel.  For the next Ident I intend to tell more of a story.
